Making the best use of workplace time (Time management)
The purpose of this course is to provide a change in thinking - there is no 'quick fix' solution. There has to be a change in the thinking from “I don’t have time” to “what must I fit in”. There are 24 hours in a day and it may be nice to have more, but it is finite, just like our income (whatever the amount).
The content includes the following elements: * fitting everything in, getting everything done (managing time, like managing finances) * working effectively with time: being more productive (how to fit more into a work day/week) * not working longer hours * a shift in thinking about time (there is enough!) * what are the time issues which prevent you functioning effectively? * doing a time budget (If you put something in, something else has to drop off) * what to do when you feel there is ‘too much on your plate’ * addressing the things which hamper effective use of time * prioritising using a time management matrix * some practical ideas for using time effectively (once a shift in thinking has occurred)
This content can be delivered in a range of different ways: half day seminar conference presentation (30min to 90min) individualised ongoing coaching/mentoring
