Managing staff performance (setting high standards and dealing with poor performance)
It is imperative that high standards are set and maintained in any business. Most people have a personal sense of pride and set out to perform to a high standard. When these standards are not achieved, there are usually factors which contribute to this and these factors have to be addressed and dealt with. There are crucial aspects which underpin the whole course: - ruthless with standards, yet gracious with people - an expectation of success / not compromising on the standards - maintaining dignity of all within an adult-adult relationship
